What is the campervan pick up process?

When you arrive at our location, please approach a member of our staff or visit the reception desk to commence your pick-up process.

Once you have arrived at the station...

At this stage, our team will:

Meeting your roadsurfer camper...

Have you already completed your Camper Tutorial? That’s great; you’re well-prepared! If you haven’t had the chance to go through the camper tutorial yet, you can easily access it by scanning a QR code on our staff’s tablet. You can take your time and go through it in your camper.

Afterward, our staff will request you to scan another QR code. These final checks are essential for the following purposes:

  • To alert you to any potential safety risks.
  • To ensure you are fully acquainted with the camper’s most crucial functions.
  • To verify and confirm that all the equipment items you booked are inside the camper.

If you have any remaining questions following the camper tutorial and the final checks, please don’t hesitate to approach our staff. They will be more than happy to assist you by revisiting any functions that may still be unclear to you.

Please notify our station staff when you’re ready for the damage assessment:

  • If you notice any damage, kindly inform us immediately. We will assess and document the damage as necessary.
  • If you’re unsure, take a photograph of the camper to record its condition when it was handed over to you.
  • Please note that it is no longer possible to report any damage after the vehicle has been handed over.

Please take a moment to check the QR code on the glove box; it contains essential information to assist you on your journey.

Sign the rental contract & start your engine...

  • Do not drive away without first signing the rental agreement.
  • Shortly after signing, you will receive an email containing your rental contract and a record of any damages noted.
  • At this point, you’ll also see the breakdown service section in your customer account. It’s crucial to take note of the contact number for the mobility service provider, especially if you’re heading to an area with limited internet coverage.
  • And don’t forget, you can access your customer account while on the road. Here you can extend your rental, change the return time, check the status of your deposit, access the Camper Tutorial whenever needed, watch instructional videos, and much more!
