Wondering when is the best time to book an RV rental in Vancouver? We recommend visiting between June and September when you’ll have the best chance of dry weather and plenty of events to choose from. However, if you prefer snow sports or cooler temperatures, then consider booking in winter, spring or fall. As for what’s on in Vancouver throughout the year, the Vancouver International Jazz Festival (June/July), Celebration of Light (July) fireworks competition and the Vancouver Pride Parade (August) are three must-see summer events.
You’ll need to fill up the freshwater tank at the beginning of your trip, and empty your grey water at the end. This can be done at most campsites. You can also google “RV Sani dump” to view the closest station to you.
Before you return your roadsurfer camper van, you will need to refill your fuel tank. This can be done at any location. However, we recommend doing do at this

When it comes to parking your RV or camper van rental in Vancouver, finding a space downtown can be challenging. Consider parking at Stanley Park, an accessible location, and explore the city on foot. This option not only eases the parking dilemma but also adds a pleasant walk to your trip. If you’d prefer a parking garage, however, there are a few options – just be sure to check for height restrictions before entering.
Camping with your motorhome rental in Vancouver is not only easy; it might just be the highlight of your trip. Within the city limits, there’s only one campground – Capilano River RV Park. However, if you don’t mind driving a bit further, there are several other fantastic camping options just outside the city. Just be sure to pre-book during the peak vacation season, otherwise you risk missing out on a premium spot.
