Camper Van & RV Rental in Antwerp

The best time to visit Antwerp is in June when there is minimal rainfall, and it’s not too hot yet to explore the city. May and August are also great times to rent a camper van, although you might want to pack your raincoat for the occasional rain shower. For those who love music, the four-day Jazz Middelheim festival takes place every August, or check out Laundry Day, a dance festival on the first Saturday of September. Beer connoisseurs won’t want to miss out on the Beer Passion Weekend, which takes place in June and has over 150 beers on offer.

To fill up the fresh water tank, or to empty the grey water tank at the end of your road trip, there are several service areas available near the roadsurfer rental station:

• Free service area 15 minutes from the station: 56-60 Eeuwfeestraat, 2870 Puurs, Belgium (fresh water is not available from October 15 to April 1)

The easiest way to park and explore the city is to use one of 9 free Park & Ride car parks on the outskirts of the city. You can also park on the streets with a blue sign with a white P, or for free along the waterfront. In pink zones, you can park for free for 2 hours, but you still need to pick up a parking pass at the ticket machine or via the app. You can also park for free in the blue zones for 2 hours with a parking disc. Please note that the entire Antwerp city center is classified as LEZ: Low Emission Zone, and all foreign drivers must register on the official city website to avoid a ticket.
