Getting to the station
From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE): From the airport, take a bus line (10, 25, or 35) this will take you to the main train station. From there please continue with the directions described below.
From Venice Train Station (Venezia Mestre): Take bus line 18 and get off at the bus stop Ca’ Sabbioni Marcuzzo – from there it is only a short walk (about 20 min) to our location. Alternatively, you can also take a train from Venezia Mestre station to the Stazione Porta Ovest station, from there it’s just a 5-minute walk to our location.

Are you renting a campervan in Venice for the first time or are you even a camping newbie? Find all the information you need for your camping holiday in Italy. From parking and refuelling near our station, to the best campsites and the best time to travel.
When you hire a campervan in Venice you can be on the road right away, trusting that your roadsurfer home on wheels is fully stocked. Your campervan comes with an awning, camping table and two chairs to enjoy the space outside of your vehicle. The kitchen box allows you to save money on eating out: you’ve got all the pots, pans, and utensils to cook up your own meals. There’s even a corkscrew and bottle opener, and a coffee pot, plus mugs for your morning coffee or tea, although you’ll want to bring dish towels, sponges, and eco-friendly dish soap. When you rent a small motorhome from Venice you will need to bring your own bedding, or you can hire what you need from the roadsurfer station. The best time to visit Venice is in April and May, as well as September, October and November, when there are fewer tourists in the city, but temperatures are still a pleasant 18-23 degrees. If you want to visit the city, it’s a good idea to stroll through the streets early in the morning or late in the evening, when the streets are a little bit quieter.
The summer months from June to August are also suitable for campervan hire in Venice with temperatures around 25-30 degrees, especially if you are planning an extended road trip from Venice along the Adriatic Sea. But be aware, it is also the busiest time to visit the city.
Before you can use the sink and shower in your campervan rental, you must fill up the fresh water tank. Please also empty the grey water tank before you return your camper to us. You can do this near our roadsurfer station at the following campsites.
Before returning your motorhome or campervan rental to use, please fill up with diesel and AdBlue. An Noloil petrol station is located nearby, where you can do both:
