Drive into the city with your camper van rental, and park for a day of exploration in Malmö. You can park on Kung Oscars Väg in Slottsparken for €6.50 for 4 hours. There are convenient restrooms in the nearby library. As with other cities, take your valuables with you and keep them out of sight.
Before you return your roadsurfer camper van, you can refill with diesel and AdBlue at one of these convenient gas stations near our location here:
Please note: The AdBlue service station information provided is for guidance only and is provided without warranty of any kind; customers are advised to check the information for accuracy on their own responsibility, as roadsurfer assumes no liability for the accuracy or timeliness of the information.
Before you start your trip in a camper van rental from Malmö, fill up your fresh water tank at the beginning and empty your black water tank before you return. Most gas stations let you refill fresh water, and many camping spots offer both fresh water and black water disposal. The easiest option is to use the facilities at your camping spot. If you need a dedicated disposal site near the roadsurfer station, the closest is Solängens Camping, about an hour north.
The best time to rent a camper van in Malmö is generally the summer, from May to August. Although prices may be higher, you can make the most of the extended daylight hours, especially by the coast. Visit midsummer and experience Sweden’s traditional summer festivities. April is when winter begins to disappear, so if you don’t mind the colder days, then this is a good month to visit. September and October are perfect for escaping the crowds. There is beauty to be found in the winter, as the cobbled streets glow in the evening rain, and the city feels more peaceful than in the high season.
