The best time to visit Venice is in April and May, as well as September, October, and November, when there are smaller crowds, but temperatures are still a pleasant 64°-74°F. If you want to visit the city, it’s a good idea to stroll through the streets early in the morning or late in the evening when the streets are a bit quieter.
With temperatures around 77°-86°F, the summer months from June to August are also well suited for camper van road trips in and around Venice. Especially if you are planning on extending your road trip along the Adriatic Sea. But be aware, it’s also the busiest time of year for the popular tourist destination.
