Camper Van & RV Rental in Valencia

Ready to book your camper van rental but wondering when the best time of year is to travel in Valencia? The great news is that Valencia offers gorgeous weather year-round thanks to its Mediterranean climate. If you like festivities and fun, we recommend renting a camper van in Valencia in March during the Valencia Fallas. If you prefer sun, beaches, and paella, you can visit in the summer; bring sunscreen and take it easy, as the temperatures are hot! Valencia is lively from June to September, and temperatures usually don’t fall below 68°F at night. We recommend that you rent a camper van or Class B RV in the low season, especially from October onwards, as the weather stays warm, and prices are much cheaper.

When you start off on your road trip adventure, you’ll want to fill up your fresh water tank before setting off. All camper van and RV rentals from roadsurfer must be returned with empty water tanks, both fresh water and black water. You can do this at the following service areas in Valencia:

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, so the demand for free parking is in high. The good news is that free parking is available throughout the city.

The best areas for free parking in Valencia are the Cabanyal or Malvarrosa districts for visiting Valencia’s beaches. The university area is a good place to park on weekends, as there will be no students there. You can also park your camper van or RV on the outskirts of Campanar and use public transportation to get to the center of Valencia.

Alternatively, you can park in the blue pay zones in Valencia. Thanks to the mobile application parking, you can extend your parking time and even use it to find your vehicle if you get lost in the city. You can also park in parking structures for more security, but make sure to check out height restrictions ahead of time.

You don’t have to register a toll system for your roadsurfer camper van when you drive in Spain, and you can decide whether to use a toll-free highway or a (private) toll road. The private ones are marked with an “R or “AP” and a toll sign on the traffic signs. Toll roads can be paid at the toll booth by credit card or cash.
