Wondering when the best time to hire a campervan in Zürich is? The answer is easy: Whenever you want! Zürich is a great place to visit year-round. While summer (June-August) sees bigger crowds, this is the season when the bathing lakes are open in the city. The weather is warm, but there is always a chance of rain in the afternoon. From March to June, the flowers start to bloom and there are fewer people around. It’s the perfect time to go hiking before the heat of the summer. Make sure to check that the cable cars are running if you’re intending to use them. In Autumn, the falling temperatures mean less rain, although you may wake up to a blanket of fog some days. Winter (December to March) sees snow in the mountains and occasionally in the city. The ski season starts, and there are Christmas markets in Zürich throughout December. It may be cold, but a good coat and a visit to a cosy café can sort that out!
When you hire a campervan in Wetzikon near Zürich you’ll need to fill up on fresh water during your trip, as well as empty your wastewater before you return your campervan or motorhome rental to our station.
