Our roadsurfer campervan rental station is conveniently located near the heart of “Florence on the Elbe”. If you are travelling within Germany, you can arrive at Dresden central railway station from Berlin in under three hours and from Leipzig by train in under 2 hours. From the central railway station, take the S2 train, and then its a 20 minutes walk to our station.

Getting to the station

From Dresden Airport (DRS): From the airport, take the S2 (S-Bahn) suburban train toward “Pirna” to “Dresden Industriegelände”. From here, it’s a 25-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

Alternatively, you can take a Taxi / Uber (11 minutes).

From Dresden Central Station: From the station, take the S2 (S-Bahn) suburban train toward “Dresden Flughafen” (airport) to “S-Bahnhof Industriegelände”. From here, it’s a 20-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

Parking information

Parking facilities are not available at our station. However, a ‘Park + Ride’ car park “Industriegelände” is located at Elisabeth-Boer-Straße.

The best time to rent a campervan in Dresden is between June and September. At this time of year, you can expect pleasant temperatures during the day, averaging 23 degrees. It is worth visiting the Dresden Music Festival at the beginning of June and the Elbhangfest on the last weekend of June, the arts festival with free entry to many cultural events around the town.
