Getting to the station

From Flesland Airport: There’s no public transportation directly from the airport to our station. It’s a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi/Uber ride.

From Bergen Train Station: Take Bybanen Line 1 to the Birkelandsskiftet terminal and then transfer to Bus No. 57. Ride for three stops to Espehaugen, which is a 5-minute walk from the bus station to the pickup location. Alternatively, you can take Bus No. 56 from Birkelandsskiftet for four stops to Myntevik, and it’s a 3-minute walk from there to the pickup location. Another option is to take Bybanen Line 1 from Bergen Sentrum all the way to Bergen Airport. From the airport, you can either walk to the station (about a 30-minute walk) or take a taxi or Uber.

Parking information

Private parking is not available at our location. If you’re picking up your motorhome rental by car, you need to inform the station right away, as the license plate must be registered for short-term parking (for when you’re picking up the vehicle). Failure to do so may result in high parking fees. Long-term parking is available at the airport, which is about 1.2 miles from the station.

  • You must have a valid U.S. passport. It’s recommended that your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area.
  • Border officials may ask for proof of onward travel or a return ticket, confirmation of accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds for your stay.
  • Norway is part of the Schengen Area, allowing seamless travel between member countries during your visit.
  • Starting in 2025, Americans will need ETIAS approval to enter Norway and other Schengen countries. Be sure to apply online before your trip once ETIAS is in effect.
