Getting to the station

From Dortmund Airport (DTM): From the airport, take the Airport Express “AirX” to Dortmund Central Station (Dortmund Hauptbahnhof). Transfer to the S-Bahn suburban rail line and board the S1 (S-Bahn) suburban train “Essen” to “Bochum-Langendreer West”. Transfer to bus 345 toward “Bochum Dahlhausen” to “Bochum Werner Straße”. From here, it’s a three-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

Alternatively, you can take a Taxi / Uber (30 minutes).

From Bochum Town Hall Station (Rathaus Bochum): From the station, board bus 345 to “Arnoldschacht”. From here, it’s a 3-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

Parking information

On-street parking is available outside the roadsurfer station or in the “Arnoldschacht” industrial estate. Please be aware that this parking is not monitored.

Parking in Bochum

There are plenty of parking garages in Bochum where you can leave your camper van or Class C RV rental, such as:

  • P1 at Husemannplatz
  • P2 at Dr.-Ruer-Platz.

You can also find a few free parking spaces in Ehrenfeldstraße near the city center, or in Nordstraße at the corner of Weststraße, right in the city center. Free parking is also available on Goldschmidtstraße.
