Generally, camper vans and RVs can park in any posted parking lot if the vehicle fits in the designated space. There is no time limit for vehicles up to 8.25 tons, but heavier vehicles are limited to a maximum two-week stay.
There are also park-and-ride (P+R) lots located throughout Augsburg, which offer even greater convenience as you can park up and use public transport to get into the city centre.
The P+R Sportanlage Süd parking lot is situated next to the tram stop at the Augsburg sports center, allowing you to reach the city center in just a few minutes. Or the Spickelbad P+R car park is within walking distance of the city center.
