What documents do I need to pick up my RV?
Make your pick-up smooth and stress-free. Here’s what you need to know about the documents required for collecting your RV or camper van rental.
Bring a valid driver’s license, a government-issued ID or passport for each listed driver, and a credit or debit card for the deposit.
- All documents must be presented in person—photos or copies are not accepted.
- Make sure your driver’s license meets the requirements for your destination.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express for paying the deposit at pick-up.
- Your card must have enough available funds to cover the deposit and you’ll need your PIN.

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a passport or national ID for all listed drivers, and a credit or debit card for the deposit.
- All documents must be shown in person—photos or digital versions aren’t accepted.
- Bring a VISA or Mastercard with enough funds for the deposit. In Germany, payment may also be possible by EC card.
- If you’re a UK resident, you must complete a driving license check. Use your license number, address, and National Insurance number to generate a check code at gov.uk.
- Drivers with European licenses who rent in the UK do not need to complete the check.
You’ll need to sign the rental agreement before starting your trip.
- A copy of the signed agreement will be emailed to you after pick-up.
