Getting to the station
From Valencia Airport (VLC): Head to the AEROPORT metro station. Take Line 3 to ÀNGEL GUIMERÀ (heading toward Rafelbunyol). Change to Line 1 and travel to PICASSENT (heading toward Castelló). Then, walk for 20 minutes to the roadsurfer station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport, which takes about 25 minutes.
From Joaquín Sorolla Train Station: Walk for 4 minutes to the JESÚS metro station. Take Line 1 to PICASSENT (heading toward Castelló). Then, walk for 20 minutes to the roadsurfer station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the central station, which takes about 25 minutes.

There’s even a corkscrew and bottle opener, and a coffee pot, plus mugs for your morning coffee or tea, although you’ll want to bring dish towels, sponges, and eco-friendly dish soap. If you prefer sun, beach and paella, we recommend you visit Valencia in the summer, but bring sun cream and take it easy as the temperatures will be hot! Valencia is lively from June to September, and temperatures don’t usually fall below 20º at night.
We recommend that you rent a motorhome in Valencia in the low season, especially from October onwards, as the weather stays warm and rental and tourist prices are much cheaper.

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, so the demand for free parking is in high demand. The good news is that free parking is available throughout the city.
The best areas for free parking in Valencia are the Cabanyal or Malvarrosa districts for visiting Valencia’s beaches. The university area is a good place to park at weekends, as there will be no students there. You can also park your motorhome on the outskirts of Campanar and take public transport to the centre of Valencia.
You can also park in the blue pay zones in Valencia. Thanks to the mobile application parking, you can extend your parking time and even use it find your vehicle if you get lost in the city, etc. You can also park in car parks with security, but you should check out the high restrictions ahead of time.
You don’t have to register a toll system for your roadsurfer vehicle when you drive in Spain, and you can decide whether to use a toll-free motorway or a (private) toll road.
The private ones are marked with an “R” or “AP” and a toll sign on the traffic signs. Toll roads can be paid at the toll booth by credit card or cash. Please pay attention and do not drive through the “Telepeaje” booths, as those are only for cars with a transponder installed. You can check which ones are toll roads and how much they cost here.
