When you hire a campervan in Seville you can be on the road right away, trusting that your roadsurfer home on wheels is fully stocked. Your campervan comes with an awning, camping table and two chairs to enjoy the space outside of your vehicle. The kitchen box allows you to save money on eating out: you’ve got all the pots, pans, and utensils to cook up your own meals. There’s even a corkscrew and bottle opener, and a coffee maker, plus mugs for your morning coffee or tea, although you’ll want to bring dish towels, sponges, and eco-friendly dish soap. When you rent a small motorhome from Seville you’ll need to bring your own bedding, or you can hire what you need from the roadsurfer station. Full details of what’s included and our suggestions on what to bring along to your Seville campervan holiday can be found in the equipment list.
The best time to hire a campervan in Seville and explore Andalusia depends on the type of holiday you want. If you like plenty of action and don’t mind crowds, Spring is a great time to visit Seville, especially during the Feria de Abril.
If you are planning on visiting Seville before you set off on your road trip, we recommend visiting in autumn. The weather is still lovely and warm, the summer tourist crowds are gone, and the campervan hire prices are lower than during the summer season.
You will need to empty your grey water and wastewater before returning your campervan rental. Here are the addresses closest to our office in Seville:
Before returning your motorhome or campervan rental to our station in Seville, you can fill up with diesel and AdBlue at the nearest BP petrol station:
Please note: The AdBlue service station information provided is for guidance only and is provided without warranty of any kind; customers are advised to check the information for accuracy on their own responsibility, as roadsurfer assumes no liability for the accuracy or timeliness of the information.
You can always pay for parking and be sure to find a parking space. The cheapest paid car parks are the blue zones, which can be found throughout the city. Insider tip: The further away you are from the centre, the easier it will be to find a parking space.
You can also consider underground car parks, such as Parking Saba. Here it is important to check the maximum height. You will be able to fit in most of them with a Volkswagen California, but with Fiat or Ford models, you may have difficulties.
In Seville, as in many other Spanish cities, there are ” parking gorrillas”, who will help you find a free parking space and ask you for a small fee. You don’t have to give them anything, as they won’t be watching your vehicle, but we advise you to pay a small amount to prevent them from damaging your vehicle.
We recommend mobile applications to find free parking spaces and even to extend your stay in the blue zone. In Seville, the blue zone is regulated by AUSSA, which also has a smartphone application.
You don’t have to register a toll system for your roadsurfer vehicle when you drive in Spain, and you can decide whether to use a toll-free motorway or a (private) toll road.
The private ones are marked with an “R” or “AP” and a toll sign on the traffic signs. Toll roads can be paid at the toll booth by credit card or cash. Please pay attention and do not drive through the “Telepeaje” booths, as those are only for cars with a transponder installed. You can check which ones are toll roads and how much they cost here.
Sleep between the orange trees and wake up to breathtaking views of the mountains or the ocean. Find and book a unique camping experience near Seville with roadsurfer spots. Search for private camping spots suited to your needs, whether that’s a swimming pool, bathrooms, or even access to hiking trails and riding stables. Stay flexible and go where ever your heart takes you. With roadsurfer spots you can book in advance or on the go.
