Getting to the station
From Central Station: Take the S1 (towards Bad Herrenalb) and alight at Ettlingen Stadt. From there, change to bus 106 (towards Neuburgweier Breslauer Straße) and alight at Ettlingen Einsteinstraße. From that stop, it’s about a 12-minute walk to the station.
From the Airport: The nearest airport is Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (FKB). The quickest option is to take a taxi, as travelling by public transport takes at least twice as long.

Karlsruhe is a great city for exploring by motorhome with two designated motorhome car parks in the city itself. The Maxau marina car park offers around 15 spaces for campervans, while there are two double parking bays reserved for motorhomes at the residential lane on Ettlinger Allee (numbers 5 to 8).
You can also park overnight at the Durlach campsite, and from here you can reach the city quickly either on foot or by public transport.
You can also park your campervan in public areas as long as your vehicle doesn’t block or obstruct the flow of traffic or the pavement. There is generally no time restriction on these spaces unless specifically stated.
