📍 Soča-Tal / DS Camping
A unique mountain panorama awaits you as you cross the border. Make your first stop at Lake Bled and marvel at the church in the middle of the island. Continue on to the Soča Valley in the middle of the Triglav National Park. Here there is something for every adventurer’s heart: whether canoeing, climbing or hiking, there are activities for everyone. Or take a walk along the crystal-clear, light-blue Soča River and explore the gorges and bays. A little to the south is the idyllic campsite DS Camping, where you can enjoy breathtaking view of the Julian Alps and the Mediterranean Gulf of Trieste.
📍 Postojna / Guesthouse Mirjam
A visit to the Postojna Caves is an absolute must in Slovenia. Located in the karst region, the cave system with its impressive stalactite formations is the second largest in the country. You can explore the 15 mile long fascinating subterranean paradise on foot or by a cave train. After such an exciting day, the Guesthouse Mirjam is just the right place to relax and unwind. Cool down in the pool or with a cold beer at the bar.
📍 Ljubljana / Savinjska Valley
Ljubljana is the pearl of Slovenia. It is impossible to visit the capital and not fall in love with it (all the more fitting that Ljubljana translates as “the beloved city”). A lot of life takes place outdoors in Ljubljana, so you’ll find countless cafés and bars around the river. Browse the second-hand shops, enjoy the view from the castle, or pay a visit to the alternative art area Metelkova. The Savinja Valley is the perfect oasis of relaxation. You can reflect on your experiences of the last few days in peace and quiet at the camp located near the Savinja Rivar.
📍 Mozirje / Forest Camp Menina
Since Slovenia is one of the countries with the highest density of nature reserves, it is doubly worthwhile to venture deeper into the countryside. The Forest Camping Menina has picture-book vibes: the perfect location by the river, a beautiful swimming lake just around the corner, and surrounded by forest on all sides. And not to forget to mention the awesome climbing park for kids.
