Getting to the station

From Stuttgart Airport (STR): From the airport, take the U6 (U-bahn) subway line toward “Gerlingen” to “Löwen-Markt” and continue as described below.

From Stuttgart Central Station (Hauptbahnhof): From the station, take the S4, S5 or S6 (S-Bahn) suburban train to “Zuffenhausen”. Change to bus 99 toward “Korntaler Straße” to “Wollinstraße”. From here, it is a 20-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

Alternatively, from the station, you can take the S6 (S-Bahn) suburban train to “Korntal”. Change to bus 612 toward “Münchingen Friedhof” to “Korntal Jahnstraße”. From here, it’s a 3-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

The best time to visit Stuttgart and its surrounding area is in the Summer, between May and September, when the average temperature is 18-24 degrees. During this time, you can enjoy Stuttgart’s annual celebrations offered free to the public, such as the Wine and Beer Festivals, the Jazz Open, and the Hamburg Fish Market Week, where you can enjoy Hamburg’s delicacies without making the long trip north. We highly recommend visiting Stuttgart at the end of September when one of the most beautiful and largest folk festivals in Germany, Cannstatter Wasen, that takes place for 14 days.
