BATTERY POWER: Please note that while roadsurfer motorhomes come with solar panels, the batteries are not equipped to last for prolonged periods without connecting to shore power.
TRAVELLING IN WINTER: Please note that all our motorhomes in Canada undergo “hibernation” during the winter months (from November to March). This involves emptying or filling all boilers and pipes with antifreeze, including the camper’s water tanks. Consequently, water usage in the vehicles, such as from the fresh water tap, shower, or toilet, is unavailable during this period. To prevent vehicle damage, kindly ensure the water tank remains empty throughout your journey. Regrettably, any damage resulting from failure to comply will incur charges.

You won’t need to drive the entire way back, allowing you to travel without the constraint of time and explore more during your holiday. With unlimited miles, your freedom knows no bounds when you embark on a one-way road trip from Calgary.
During the booking process, you have the flexibility to select your desired return location. If you rent your RV or campervan from Calgary, you have the option to return it to our location in Vancouver, or you can book a round trip and return it in Calgary.

Please ensure that you have the necessary visa before travelling. The following guide applies to all UK and EU citizens, including those from Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, and Croatia:
One-way rentals from Calgary (Canada)
Travelling from Canada to the USA requires a Canada Visa (ETA) (for entry by plane) and a USA Visa or ESTA.
If you are travelling within Canada without crossing the US border, the Canada Visa (ETA) is sufficient.
When travelling from the USA to Vancouver, only a USA Visa or ESTA is required. A Canada Visa is not necessary for entry via land.
Best time to hire a campervan in Calgary
