Our roadsurfer campervan rental station in Hamburg on Billbrookdeich 11 is nestled right on the beautiful Bille river. This station is 25 minutes journey with public transportation from the central train station and 45 minutes from the International airport.
Getting to the station
From Hamburg Airport (HAM): From the airport, take the S1 (S-Bahn) suburban train to “Berliner Tor”. Change to the U2 (U-Bahn) subway line to “Horner Rennbahn”. Change to bus 160 to “Billbrookdeich”. From here, it’s a 2-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

When you hire a campervan in Hamburg you can be on the road right away, trusting that your roadsurfer home on wheels is fully stocked. Your campervan comes with an awning, camping table and two chairs to enjoy the space outside of your vehicle. The kitchen box allows you to save money on eating out: you’ve got all the pots, pans, and utensils to cook up your own meals. There’s even a corkscrew and bottle opener, and a coffee pot, plus mugs for your morning coffee or tea, although you’ll want to bring dish towels, sponges, and eco-friendly dish soap. If you want to check out large transport ships and musical performances such as ballet dancing or classical music, the Hamburg Harbour Birthday in May is an event you won’t want to miss. Jazz fans are in for a treat in June as there is an annual Elbjazz Festival. At the end of July you can relax in the countryside at the Summer Festival in Altona and enjoy open air music. In August, indie and electro fans can dance at the MS Dockville Festival. And don’t forget the Reeperbahn Festival in September where you can attend concerts of many well-known artists and park your camper on a nearby campsite.
You can fill up your campervan hire with fresh water or dispose of wastewater before you return your vehicle at the motorhome park on Grüner Deich 8 which is only a 10-minute’ drive from our roadsurfer rental station in Hamburg.

Free parking spaces in Hamburg is hard to come by. Insider tip: There is a multi-storey car park with 427 spaces at Hühnerposten, directly behind the main railway station in Hamburg, which is operated by Deutsche Bahn. You can park there for a whole day for €10. You can even sign up for a monthly ticket for €79. Please check the height of your vehicle in accordance to the limits at this car park.
