What happens if the host cancels my confirmed booking?
Although rare, your host may need to cancel your booking.
Refunds and next steps depend on when the cancellation happens and whether your stay has already ended.
A host can cancel directly if it is more than 72 hours before your check-in date and within 48 hours of receiving the booking confirmation.
- For last-minute cancellations, the host must contact the roadsurfer spots support team for assistance
If your host cancels before your check-out date, you will automatically receive a 100% refund including the service fee.
- You will receive confirmation and refund details as soon as the cancellation is processed
If the host has not cancelled and your check-out date has already passed, the payout has already been sent to the host.
- In this case, the host is responsible for refunding you for the cost of your stay
- To recover the service fee, submit a refund request via the contact form
- Include your booking number and IBAN in your request
If you were the one who cancelled, the refund follows the guest cancellation policy.
- See the full rules in the guest cancellation policy
