Camping by the sea – Germany

If you want to explore Germany, you have multiple chances at the North and Baltic Sea. Surfing fans can get the best waves at Sylt or St. Peter-Ording. Campers with kids will feel right at home at Ferienhof Janseen since here you can vacation in a farm close to the coast.

Camping next to the Baltic Sea includes some of the most beautiful sites in Germany. In Regenbogen Prerow you can find your camping spot in the middle of dunes with a direct entrance to the beach.

Camping by the sea – France

In France, there is also plenty of opportunities to enjoy your time at the beach – the wild Atlantic coast or white beaches of the Côte d’Azur are there for you.

If you stay at Mima and Papinou’s, you will spend the night close to “Plage de Pornic” and “Plage de Vendée”. It is also a great option if you fancy a bit of city air as Nantes is only 30 min away.

Our spot at the farm is also close to the beach and a great starting point for hiking trails and exciting destinations nearby.

If you want to go camping by the sea in south France, you might consider one of the many spots like Camp du Domaine. You get to practically sleep with your feet in the sand and you can use it as a starting point for your roadtrip to Cannes, Saint-Tropez or Nice.

Camp on a big meadow and jump into the water in the morning. The beautiful beaches of Pornic and Vendée are only 30 min away.

Visit Mima and Papinou

Stay away from the tourist masses with your own spot at a farm. Go to bed next to the animals and pretty woods and explore the area by day. The sea is only 25 min away.

Camping by the sea – Belgium

Belgium is ideal for a city trip combined with camping by the sea at the North Sea. The coast is 65 km long and it has a lot to offer.

De Panne, Nieuwpoort, Ostende and Blankenberge are some of the most popular bathing spots and also perfect for camping with your dog – there is plenty of space to run around. There are lots of nice camping sites such as the Kustpark Strand Westende, which has a great kids entertainment program and playgrounds.

Camping by the sea – Spain

Spain is a fantastic option for camping by the sea, even in the winter months – the Costa Cálida is also one of the warmest spots in Europe in January and offers many hours of sun throughout the whole year.

In Camperspot Oliva Playa, you will sleep close to the beach of the same name. It is a great place for wind- and kite surfers and it is also pretty popular among stand-up-paddle enthusiasts.

If you travel to Spain, you can’t miss Mallorca. We recommend travelling at the end of the summer or in autumn to avoid high season. The best way is to take the ferry to Mallorca with your camper and sleep at one of our spots the Finca Bucólica. This spot even hast its own water pool and is good to reach some of the most beautiful beaches of the island.

Camping by the sea in Italy is also a good idea. For example, you can visit the Camping 5 Terre in Cinque Terre. It is the ideal destination to enjoy the Dolce Vita and still save money for your trip.

At the Toscana, go to the Camping Dolce Sole. It is one step away from the beach as well as from Pisa, Florence and Siena.

If you’d prefer travelling away from big tourism spots, try the Nature Camping Apulien. This region is located at the heel of the Italian boot and is waiting for your with its dreamy beaches, wild landscapes and historic cities.

Camping by the sea – Croacia

Croacia is a go to country for lovers of camping by the sea.

COLLIS Winery is only one km away from many natural beaches. As the name says, it is a spot within a winery, ideally placed on a hill in Rovinj.

If you’d prefer wild camping in Croacia, then we recommend a wonderful spot at the coast of Krk. This small place between Vrbnik and Risika is big enough for only 5 vehicles and, instead of elegant sanitary facilities and restaurants, it is simply surrounded by pure nature – with a fabulous view of the bay! This way, you can enjoy wild camping but in a legal way. Simply book one of our vans with kitchen and bath and you are ready to go.

Our spot at the Vrana See is located in the middle of a nature park and it has its own beach. You can go to bed with the sound of waves. Dogs are also allowed!
