Off-season in St. Peter-Ording is pretty calm
Only 1 ½ hours away from Hamburg, you can find the sea as well as a beautiful, calm place: During off-season, one might think that no more than 60 people live in St. Peter Ording. Fabulously: it is possible to park your campervan directly at the beach. But this also has its price – 12 Euros for parking only plus visitor’s tax. However, if you stay the whole day on the beach, it is definitely worth it!
It’s raining? Heat yourself up in a thermal bath
The Beach House offers a good parking space with sanitary facilities. But: First come, first serve – That’s why you should be fast as the places are limited. If you are looking for the ultimate camping feeling, you will find many possibilities on the dike. And in case of rain, there is a thermal bath in the city center. Here you can heat yourself up before you go to the beach again!
Strolling around through St. Peter-Ording
The city center offers everything you need: Grocery shops, as well as many small, charming stores. All in all, St. Peter-Ording is definitely worth a trip when you only have a limited time with your roadsurfer but want to spend it efficiently. The roadsurfer leaves no wish unanswered and promises a wonderful time.
