Free rebooking or cancellation up to 48h before the trip

In the case of a rebooking:

  • Free-of-charge rebooking option up to 48h before the trip to the current price.

In the case of a cancellation:

  • Up to 48h before the trip, free cancellation option in exchange for a voucher.
  • For a later cancellation, cancellation fees according to roadsurfer travel conditions apply.
    A free-of-charge rebooking or cancellation is then no longer possibly.

Rebooking

Can I change my roadsurfer booking?

Yes, you can change your booking up to 48h in advance to another time frame or to another model, free of charge.
The up-to-the-minute-prices apply.

How can I change my booking?

Best if you just send us a short e-mail detailing your rebooking and the changes you wish to add. We will send you a new booking confirmation as soon as possible.

Are there any rebooking fees with roadsurfer?

Up to 48h before the booking, the rebooking is free-of-charge.
No rebooking fees apply.
The up-to-the-minute-prices apply during a rebooking.

Can I change my booking multiple times?

Yes, you can change the time of your trip multiple times, we are flexible in this regard.
The cancellation after a successful rebooking is only possible in exchange for a voucher, the free-of-charge cancellation does no longer apply.

In what time frame can I change my booking for free?
You can change your booking from the earliest time you want, up to 48h before the trip, free-of-charge.

Cancellation

Can I cancel my roadsurfer booking?

Cancellations make us sad but, yes, you can cancel your booking. Send us a short e-mail with your booking number and the name of the main tenant.

How can I cancel?

Simply send us a short e-mail with your cancellation wish, your booking number and, if you are not the main tenant, your full name.

Are there cancellations fees with roadsurfer?

No, there are no cancellation fees.

  • Up to 60 before the trip, you can cancel and get a refund of your down payment.
  • Up to 59-30 days before the trip, you can get a refund of up to 50% of the total rent price.
    Depending on the value of the refunded sum, you can choose with regard to the remaining amount, whether you want a voucher or to rebook to a different time frame or model. If the rebooking leads to a lower total rent price, you will receive a voucher with the differential amount. If the new total rent price is higher, you still have to pay the differential amount.
  • Up to 29 days – 48h before the trip, you can cancel free-of-charge in exchange for a voucher with the total sum or rebook to another time frame or vehicle category.
    If the rebooking leads to a lower total rent price, you will receive a voucher with the differential amount. If the new total rent price is higher, you still have to pay the differential amount.

The full payment must have been received by roadsurfer at the time of the cancellation.

With 48h to go until the trip, we can no longer offer a free-of-charge cancellation or cancellation in exchange for a voucher.

How long can I cancel a booking free-of-charge?

You can cancel for free up to 48h before the beginning of the trip.
Your will receive your refund in the form of a voucher.

How will I be refunded?

If you cancel up to 60 days before the beginning of the trip, you will get a refund.
It will always happen in the same payment method that you used for your down payment.
For a bank transfer, please let us know your IBAN directly.

Voucher - what you need to know


Once it is issued, the voucher is valid for 3 years

An extension is not possible

You will receive an e-mail with the voucher code

The voucher can be used for all models and all stations

The voucher cannot be paid in cash

The up-to-the-minute prices at the end of the booking and Terms & Conditions apply

The resale of the cancellation vouchers is not allowed
