The best time to rent a camper van in Milan depends on your interests. For those wanting to do outdoor activities, April to July and September to October have pleasant weather. If you’re a fashion lover then the fashion weeks in February and September are the ideal time to go, although the city does get quite crowded. The winter is the best time to escape the crowds at museums and historical sites, and the Christmas markets are magical. To visit the city, we recommend parking at Lampugnano parking lot, which is only 20 minutes away from the roadsurfer station. From here, you can take the Metro Line 1 to the center of Milan.

If you do need to drive into the city, pay attention to the signs. There are different parking areas in Milan: white (free), blue (paying), and yellow (reserved for residents only).
