Getting to the station
From Venice Marco Polo Airport: Take the train to Mestre Stazione FS and then change to line 43 direction Ca’ Sabbioni to Ca’ Sabbioni Marcuzzo. From here, it’s about a 15 minute walk.
From the Train Station: Take line 43 in the direction of Ca’ Sabbioni to Ca’ Sabbioni Marcuzzo. From here, it is about 15 minutes on foot.
Parking Information
The best place to park your vehicle is the Porta Ovest train station parking. There is a lot of space, it is free, open all night, and most of all, a 3 minutes walk from our station.

Pick-up your campervan hire in Venice and be on the road straight away! All your essential camping equipment is already in your campervan such as an awning, camping table and two camping chairs, levelling wedges, a gas bottle for cooking and heating, and a water canister to fill the water tank. You will also find a kitchen box on board with all the essential kitchen utensils and tableware. You don’t need to bring anything with you except a sleeping bag or duvet and pillows if you haven’t booked bedding as an extra item – see the full details in our equipment list on our website.
The best time to visit Venice is in April and May, as well as September, October and November, when there are fewer tourists in the city, but temperatures are still a pleasant 18-23 degrees. If you want to visit the city, it’s a good idea to stroll through the streets early in the morning or late in the evening, when the streets are a little bit quieter.
The summer months from June to August are also suitable for campervan hire in Venice with temperatures around 25-30 degrees, especially if you are planning an extended road trip from Venice along the Adriatic Sea. But be aware, it is also the busiest time to visit the city.
Before you can use the sink and shower in your campervan rental, you must fill up the fresh water tank. Please also empty the grey water tank before you return your camper to us. You can do this near our roadsurfer station at the following campsites.
Before returning your motorhome or campervan rental to us after your trip, please fill up with fuel and Ad Blue. An IP petrol station is located 3 minutes by car from our station:
