Getting to the station

From Hamburg Airport (HAM): From the airport, take the S1 (S-Bahn) suburban train to “Berliner Tor”. Change to the U2 (U-Bahn) subway line to “Horner Rennbahn”. Change to bus 160 to “Billbrookdeich”. From here, it’s a 2-minute walk to the roadsurfer station.

During this time, the city comes alive with music festivals. If you want to check out large transport ships and musical performances such as ballet dancing or classical music, the Hamburg Harbour Birthday in May is an event you won’t want to miss. Jazz fans are in for a treat in June as there is an annual Elbjazz Festival. At the end of July you can relax in the countryside at the Summer Festival in Altona and enjoy open air music. Parking in Hamburg

Free parking spaces in Hamburg is hard to come by. Insider tip: There is a multi-storey car park with 427 spaces at Hühnerposten, directly behind the main railway station in Hamburg, which is operated by Deutsche Bahn. You can park there for a whole day for €10. You can even sign up for a monthly ticket for €79. Please check the height of your vehicle in accordance to the limits at this car park.
